About this game

YoHU Tavla is backgammon (tavla) on a hand-drawn wooden board, the way it is played across Turkey and the world. Every real rule is here: roll the two dice (doubles give you four moves), move your checkers around the board, hit your opponent’s blots and send them to the bar, bring everyone home and bear them off to win — with mars (gammon, ×2) and backgammon (×3) results. The game enforces mandatory dice use and the higher-die rule for you, highlights every legal move, and lets you take your dice back before you commit. Play the built-in computer on three difficulty levels as White or Black, or pass-and-play two players on one device. No download — just roll and play.
